SHARE CALL DATA
Export and import options allow you to share call data with other responders. Perfect for when transfering patient care to other ems providers.
Allows for you and your partner to take notes at the same time and later merge the data into one report.
Important: Only COMPLETED signature forms are transfered. Any obtained signatures in a form that is not complete will not be imported.

EXPORT
- From the menu button tap export
- Call Data will save to the device at folder location EMSnotes/share/. This will be the only file in that folder
- To send to another device use your favorite bluetooth app. I use an app called 'Bluetooth File Transfer'. (not an EMS Operations app). This app is perfect because it allows you to save the file location as a bookmark for quick access.
IMPORT
- Using your bluetooth app import the shared file to the same location at EMSnotes/share/
- From the menu button tap import
- The imported call will then merge with your current call
- Please note that any data that overlaps such as patient name or allergies will be overridden by the imported data.
- Once imported the file will be removed
- Images are not included in the transfer

Install Bluetooth File Transfer
- Optimized setup
- Open the app, scroll to and tap EMSnotes folder
- scroll to and LONG PRESS on the 'share' folder
- scroll down and select 'Add Bookmark' this will make it easy to find the file when exporting
- now to optimize importing tap the menu button - more - settings
- Tap Receiving service (OPP)
- Scroll down to and select Destination Folder
- set EMSnotes/Share/ as the destination folder. When importing a call the file will now automatically be placed in the right folder
- Sending a call
- open bluetooth file transfer
- select the bluetooth icon on the top right
- tap the menu button - search devices (after the device you are sending to selects Discoverable)
- once it finds the device tap on the computer icon on the top left
- select the yellow star for bookmarks
- select the shared folder bookmark you setup earlier
- LONG PRESS the file emsNotesSharedCall.txt
- scroll down and select Send via Bluetooth
- select the device from that was found
- after complete you can close
- Receiving a call
- open bluetooth file transfer
- select the bluetooth icon on the top right
- tap the menu button - Discoverable
- wait until the transfer is complete then open EMS Notes
- if EMS Notes was running in the background you will have to tap the menu then import
- if not you will be asked if you want to import
- remember the incoming call will merge with your active call
- after importing for security reasons the file is deleted
